We are immensely proud that throughout its first year, there was not a single day that the Heichal was closed, B"H, and we will look forward to keeping this track record alive, doing everything in our power to ensure this continues. Our commitment to this stems from the importance of Limmud HaTorah. While daily Tefila is a chiyuv, there is a discussion which argues whether it is D'Rabanan or D'Oraysa. Regarding the chiyuv for twice daily Torah study, however, it is unanimous: It is a chiyuv d'oraisa! Therefore, if a shul is open daily - how much more so a place of Torah!
