The Rebbe Rashab writes in a letter that one of the reasons that Yirei Shamayim experience disintegration in their Yiddishkeit is because they hide anything good. For example, when one decides to learn, he does it privately so that no one sees him. The Rebbe Rashab therefore stresses that one may learn what he wants, however it must take place at a set time and in a public place. (Igros Kodesh 1:117)

New Chabura Yud Daled Elul 5770

Rabbi Shimon Hellinger will be leading a new chabura on the first Perek of Maseches Pesachim that will be learned in the Yeshivos this coming year. It will go through the basic Tosfos as well. This chabura will be especially helpful for fathers who wish to review with their sons.

Chabura with Rabbi Tzvi Rimler Yud Daled Elul 5770

Yagdil Torah is taking the initiative and beginning something brand new: A chabura at the new Heichal Halimud. The chabura, which is essentially a group chavrusa (2 - 4 people) with a moderator, will be led by Rabbi Tzvi Rimler. Since it will be more chavrusa style, each chabura will have a chosen topic but will not be prepared in advance. Instead, everyone joining in can give his input, thereby gaining even more knowledge and information.

With less than 2 weeks left until the Grand Opening of Yagdil Torah's Hechal Halimmud Tiferes Yitzchok the last preparations are being made to ensure that the Heichal offers the best possible venue for Torah learning. More and more Seforim are being added, and our final collection is sure to have a selection to please everyone. A comfortable room layout has been arranged to maximize the level of convenience for those who learn at the Heichal, and many small touches are being added for your comfort.

Opening up! Yud Aleph Tammuz 5770

Yagdil Torah is delighted to announce the opening of our new Heichal Halimud/Beis Medrash- a center dedicated exclusively to Torah learning!

The Center for Torah Learning is being dedicated by the Barber Family לע''נ הרה"ח התמים ר' יצחק בן הרה"ח ר' אליהו ז"ל. We will mark his yahrtzeit as the beautiful beginning of this new endeavor on ה' אלול, August 15. The center has also been made possible thanks to a generous grant from David Slager and Family.
